Maash ke laddu

My nani( maternal grandmother) makes these laddus for me always and they are super yumm. They are loaded with nutrition, so it's good for all ages. Give these to your kids, they will love the taste and you will be satisfied that they are eating healthy.

Maash is nothing but urad dal. Bring home some good quality white whole urad dal. Do not wash them. You have to dry roast them and make a fine powder of it. You can also use black urad dal, they are more healthy.

You can also use jaggery in place of sugar, extra iron it is.

Let's get started on the process.

White urad dal- 500 gms

Sugar- 500 gms

Ghee/ Clarified butter- 125 gms

Cardamom pods- 3

  2. Transfer to a plate and let it cool down completely.

  5. When the urad dal is cooled, make a fine powder of it.
