Prawns pasta penne

White sauce pasta is not Indian version of pasta. It is mildly spiced but creamy and silky in texture. It is liked among all age groups.

Ingredients:

Pasta: 150 gms
Prawns: 250 gms
Cream: 250 ml
Cheese: 20 gms, grated
Butter: 1 tbsp
Minced garlic: 1 tsp
Chili flakes: 1 tbsp
Chopped coriander: 1 tbsp

Method:

  1. Add deveined prawns to a pan and cook till all the moisture released from prawns is reduced.

  2. Add water to a pan and cook the pasta. Add salt while cooking.
  3. Strain the water from pasta and keep aside once they are cooked.
  4. Add butter to a pan. When it starts melting add minced garlic and saute.
  5. Add cream, grated cheese and stir well.
  6. Add pasta and prawns when it comes to a boil.
  7. Add chili flakes and coriander leaves.

  8. Serve it hot.
