Mangalorean White snapper fish curry

It's no surprise that I love fish, but when I was in Hyderabad, we hardly got fresh good fish. But from when we shifted to Bangalore last year, it's a fish festival here😛. Brought White snapper fish yesterday and I made this yummy tangy spicy fish curry, added some coconut milk Mangalore style. You have to try this.
Ingredients:

Fish- 800 grams
Onions- 3, small
Green chilies- 4
Ginger garlic paste- 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder- 1 tsp
Coriander powder- 2 tsp
Salt accordingly
Red chili powder- 2 tbsp
Garam masala powder- 1 tsp
Tamarind juice- 100 ml
Water accordingly
Curry leaves- 8 to 10
Coriander leaves- 2 tbsp
Oil- 5 tbsp
Method:
  1. In a wide -mouthed vessel, add onions, ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, coriander powder, salt, red chili powder, garam masala powder and mix well.
  2. Now add green chilies, curry leaves, tamarind juice, oil.
  3. Cook on high flame first till it comes to a boil.
  4. Lower the flame and cook till the oil leaves the pan.
  5. Add coconut milk and cook for 2 minutes.
  6. Serve with hot rice or neer dosa.
  • Do not add too much water, it'll break the fish pieces.
