Sitaphal Kheer

 


Sitaphal kheer is the simplest and tastiest kheer you can ever make!

All you need is some custard apples and milk and sugar. Very less time required to make and you are going to love it. 

Make this for your guests and impress them to the core. 

The only tedious task here is deseeding the custard apple. You can do that while watching Netflix too 😉
Ingredients:

Milk- 2 cups
Cashews- 1/4 cup
Custard apple- 1/3 cup ( for paste)+ 1/4 cup
Cardamom powder- 1/4 tsp
Sugar- 1/2 cup
Pistachios- for garnishing, grounded to powder
Method:
  1. To a pan add milk and put on stove.
  2. Add cardamom powder and let it come to a boil.
  3. In the meantime, add cashews and custard apple to a mixi jar.
  4. Add some water and make a fine paste.
  5. When the milk comes to a boil, add this paste to milk.
  6. Add sugar and the rest of the custard apple.
  7. Do not cook it now, as the milk could get sour. 
  8. Garnish with dry fruits of your choice and serve!
  • Wisdom bites:
  • Over cooking could spoil the milk, so please do not cook after adding custard apple.
  • It tastes much better when it's chilled. Do try it.
